With reference to our press release of 20 October 2011, Awilco Drilling PLC is pleased to confirm that the contract with Ithaca Energy (UK) Limited for the provision of WilHunter to drill the Hurricane appraisal well in the Central North Sea is signed. The contract is expected to commence mid Q1 2012.
WilHunter is one of Awilco Drilling’s two Enhanced Pacesetter semi-submersibles and is equipped for drilling in water depths up to 1,500 ft.
