Further to the stock exchange announcement of 31st January, 2012 Awilco Drilling PLC confirms that the outstanding repair work on WilHunter was completed on the 31st of January. Drilling activity has not however been able to re-commence due to well operational difficulties and adverse weather. A further update will be released upon re-commencement of normal operations.
WilHunter is one of Awilco Drilling’s two Enhanced Pacesetter semi-submersibles and is equipped for drilling in water depths up to 1,500 ft.
