With reference to our press release of 24 May 2012, Awilco Drilling PLC is pleased to confirm that the contract with Hess Ltd for the provision of WilHunter for 400 days firm and 240 days options related to their 2013 and 2014 abandonment program in the Central North Sea has been signed. The contract is expected to commence in Q2 2013.
WilHunter is one of Awilco Drilling’s two Enhanced Pacesetter semi-submersibles and is equipped for drilling in water depths up to 1,500 ft.
